Iron Artist Sketch #000 - Alexey
So, tomorrow (Sept 10th) I will take on my first 5 iron artist slots at 5pm Greenwich Mean Time

So, for those of you who haven't seen my recent journal, my PC is in a poor state, and getting worse by the day. Restarting itself frequently, has started losing its sound capabilities and this morning it didn't want to start at all. On top of that my monitor is on the blink as well. It keeps losing it's colour.
All that isn't any good for someone who uses their PC for art as much as I do, even worse when it is how I make my living. And to be frank, if I don't try and sort something out ASAP, not only do I chance losing all the art I've ever produced if the bugger dies, but it makes it impossible to get the majority of commissions done (which are digital).
So, while I really don't want to take on more work, I don't have a lot of choice at the moment.
My first goal is to get a £50, 500gig external drive to back up all my art stuff and to make it easier for getting said art on to the PC when I am able to get the parts and have it built.
My wonderful
was lovely enough to help support me as well as use his character as a "beta" so I could give it a test run to find out about how long I may take to do these.
It took me 3 hours. So I am thinking about $25 for one character, like the image above.
..and $35 for an image with two characters.

People will love your art just as much as I do and certaintly don't want to see you stagnating,
just because the stupid technical equipment (that we all love dearly though x3) dies xD

I hope so, I think that is the most important thing, making sure everything is backed up safely, then i can work on getting the other parts ^^; Or maybe just a pre-built PC already, I am not sure.

Oh man... your computer was having trouble when i was there, and that was to years ago! I guess it's time :P That sucks though. I just hope you can handle it and relocate all your stuff before it explodes. Getting the storage drive first is a good plan.

Awesome! I will most definitely pounce on that then. Shouldn't be too much extra shipping for me at least as I'm in the UK too, but I'm sure we can work something out. (I was confused for a bit as to whether we were an hour ahead or behind GMT at the moment, but the site you linked reckons 5pm GMT = 6pm in the Good Old Country. So I'll see you around then!)
