"Free as a Bird" Beatles cover pulled from very old tapes
I was exited when I found this recording. Thinking "Man, wouldn't it be awesome to add a bunch of cool instrumentation and stuff to this just like the Beatles did in the original?"
I haven't quite gotten to that, but if anyone is so inclined to take this and play with it by all means do so!
This was an old recording I did on a 4 track tape deck when I was something like 16 years old. The only thing I have done to it is added some old school double tracking to more resemble John Lennon's original recording.
Original can be heard here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UqHjXF1gUWU
I intend to move this to scraps later as I don't consider it a finished product nor anywhere close to my current standard.

Well, I don't know if this will go on it (probably not) bu I have a cover CD with a lot of good stuff on it that I will be giving away at RF. I feel that its worth the 10 cents a disk to get my name out there and acquire a few more listeners. I will still (hopefully) have another CD of originals that will come a bit more produced for sale though.
Yes sir. I have been playing guitar for 10 years now :3 some of these old tape recordings are pretty good playing wise. I didn't really know anything about sound back then though so there are low quality recordings. the fact that some of these are nearly a decade old doesn't help either. *hugs*
