Train to freakin' lead...My WLC platoon's motto became "Leeroy Jenkin's" around week 3. Which the video is appropriate. There will always be that PV1 who, while you are briefing your battle plan will be spacing out or not paying attention, and rush into somewhere or do something stupid that you have to bail him/her out.

On another note, I finished WLC, and four days later deployed to Afghanistan. No leave for me either. I was also fortunate in that we really didn't get yelled at. Actually, I can't really think of a time when we did...

WLC wasn't that bad, we had combat arms for cadre, naturally, us combat arms are buddy buddy, unless you get some hot headed dirtbag types

Trying to avoid going to WLC myself. ;p I'm out in 2014 anyway, they may as well send someone from our unit who's actually going to benefit from it.
