*smiles... and so this week I found myself back in Scanectity's valley.
I suddenly feel a little more at peace...

When you name someone, and as an author we name people all the time, you are kind of making a little bit of a destiny for them. Someone named Frank or Daniel or Susan are not usually going to go and do something amazing while people with interesting names are much more likely too.
Scanectity is such a big name and yet lives in such a normal world but is so big in that world. This is an amazing bit of story telling here. it takes a great deal of talent to create something like this, i know i've tried a fair few times and just can't get it right.
I take off my hat to you and will re-read this again many a time i assure you.
It's like warm apple pie for the soul

Thank you so very much...
Actually Scanectity came to me through the prompt, and developed into a complete book. (since taken down) This small piece is a revisit, and perhaps a step back into that world which does bring me a small portion of peace.
Your words were very kind, and trust me, very much appreciated.

Now that certainly was a wonderful little tale, and full of smile-inducing little details and dialogues. It makes me wish I could have seen the full book on this lovely little world that you wrote, but took down again from this here site, darling
*smiles warmly and huggles*
I really, really liked this, it made me smile all the way through

*smiles very big... oooooo... compliments and my morning coffee - what a way to begin the day! Thanks so much Aetherebus. Scanectity began with the Thursday Prompt. He then developed into a complete book during the process. I took it down after it was finished with the intentions of publishing - and of course I have not pursued it as I should have.

*Large, warm hug.* I've been busying myself with stuff lately, but I did get some writing done over the last few months. I've been meaning to post it here, as I've already posted it elsewhere. And right now I'm in the middle of a two month trip across the US, visiting friends. It's going to be great. I don't even have my itinerary completely mapped out, either. I'm glad Homeland Security let me in anyway. :)
