Subject: Person paints on candle with wax
Materia Artistica: Koh-i-noor tech pens
Reffernces: from my memeories of working with the process
Notes: From a book project from C.R.O.C. press (and no i am not making this shit up. i once confronted him on the usage of croc as a anagram and he said it was his initials and that was that.... ) Yes you can actually paint with wax itself. it is quite fun once you get the hang of it and remember to never let your brush cool off. Incidently lighter fluid removes normal parafin and even beeswax from brushes and fabirc though it can affect non colour fast fabircs so if using to get out of a piece of cloth test an area first. and the lighter fluid can be removed with dishwashing liquid. but anyway painitng with wax is very much a layering process as most waxes are transluscent (which is why light goes through it as it burns as a candle) so it can become thick and sculptural as you go which can be used with great effect.
