Right, so to start off I have absolutely no idea how long this one actually took because I just stopped counting. And all because I royally f'd up on my brush setting and decided to just go with it rather than make it easier for me, which I ended up doing anyway. Like the sketch for the kitsune is about 1.5 hours, another hour to draw Mige. Then another hour and a half for lineless flats. And then spent likely 10-12 hours doing the first pass of the fur effect and then 4 hours on the rest of the shading process. And I could probably do more, but was at the "I'm done with this one" stage.


Anyway, as for the drawing I wanted something somewhat silly and wholesome at the same time, so we have Mige and their five-tailed kitsune friend I still haven't thought of their name yet having a bit of time flying with one of them obviously being far better and more confident at it than the other. And I think it turned out really well, especially with how awkward the poses are. Which probably shows how much progress I've done that I can attempt these super-weird poses and not make it look too terrible, that I'm no longer constrained to just side-only or front-only
