Yes they can. The only way they can't fire you based on appearance is if it's something you can't chose. (Race for example)
I'm sure when he was hired he was informed that he couldn't have any visible tattoos so to get one now give them every right to fire him. It's why I had to change my hair from bright blue back to brown so I could get a job. Society blows.
OP I say A! I wish there was a way they could like, fade or something. It's gonna be a cool tat!

The right one, good sir. And the suggestion of making it a full sleeve are well thought out. Please do so as to not create a tacky or "unfinished" looking tattoo. I believe the tiger stripes could blend into an actua tiger, say, on the elbow. I would go with a more traditional Japanese style tiger to give it that more "Sailor Jerry" originality or you could go with a more modern realistic tattoo of the tiger to express your creativity. But I would definately have it blend into something so it doesn't just look like a patch of skin, tattoo's must be significant and they need to be interresting. OR you could make your arm the tail and have the entire tiger form scrawled across your back or shoulders. Be it a larger tattoo it would carrp more significance than just a patch of tiger stripes.
Nice cover, HAHA! Could have fouled me. I know some guys from La and they are all freakin nuts about LSU and the Saints...I can't see that...probably because I'm from New Mexico and we don't have any national teams and our college teams suck ass, HAHA! But seriously if you're gunna start somewhere don't get the tattoo to where you can't modify it. You must be able to improve it. I have 3 tattoos and all 3 of them look so out of sync because there just there, theres nothing relating them, nothing binding or connecting them. It looks kind of flimsy ya know? I'm just trying to help you out, old boy. I would start off with a tiger's tail on my arm and have it going up my sleeve so people are all like "Oh wow is that an entire tattoo of a tiger on your body? Can i see?" and then you're like "It's not finished but thanks for the comment" blah blah blah.
If the goal is something approaching a realistic pattern, I feel obligated to point out that tiger stripes aren't nearly as dense as either pattern depicted. This is the densest stripe pattern I could find: http://www.knowledgerush.com/wiki_i.....engalTiger.jpg
Don't get me wrong, A is a good design -- but it's a design for a tiger's chest and sides, not a shoulder.

Neither. A looks like some crazy Zebra tribal. B looks more like a tiger pattern, but it still doesn't look good. It's the wrong pattern for that location and just looks plastered on at that angle. And in all honesty, I think having a tiny patch of animal markings in one specific location of your body would look terrible, no matter what the pattern was. I sure hope you're giving yourself a long time thinking this over, so you don't end up with buyer's remorse for your own body, for the rest of your life.
