Shujolt, the Spark Pokémon
Type: Electric/Fire
Height: 11"~20"
Weight: 4.5~8.5 lbs
Biomes: Urban neighborhoods, small towns, farmland, fruit orchards, forests
Diet: Fruits, nuts, seeds
Field Notes 1 - It cooks berries in its mouth using electricity to make chewing them easier. Since it converts the sugars in the berries into more electricity quickly, it can do this without stopping.
Field Notes 2 - Eating too much too fast overloads it with electricity. The excess is released through the tip of its tail, and has caused power outages and fires.
Field Notes 3 - It raids farms and orchards for their fruit. Farmers often keep a Pokémon with Static or Lightning Rod to help protect their crops.
Researcher Comments - Considered a pest in civilized areas, as its electricity can damage property and disrupt business. More rural locations find them cute and adorable, and enjoy setting up berry feeders to watch them eat. They're sometimes kept as pets and used to supply power during harsh winters. They can eat a variety of things, but will struggle to metabolize food outside their core diet into energy.

I drew this a while for myself but never posted it here. It's here now!
If I were to be a Pokémon that exists, I would be quite boring and be a Pikachu or Raichu. So when going in to make a fakemon for myself I went with pika clone. It's based off of chipmunks and how blown fuses/wires can lead to fires. It'd mostly be an electric type but would learn a couple fire moves to round it out. A lot of Pokémon would outrank it power and move wise, but it's cute and small, and I like it.
