What if there was a live action or CGI film based on the rise of Sally Alicia Acorn?

Based on of course the Sonic the Hedgehog character from the animated series Sonic the Hedgehog (Satam) and the American and English comic series for Sonic the Hedgehog.

Sally is princess of Mobotropolis, the city of anthropomorphic creatures that the robotic legions of Dr. Robotnik invade and enslave. Born to luxury but waking up to a harsher life of a guerilla fighter she is co-leader of the children's crusade known as the Knothole Freedom Fighters.
A film centered on her might be very interesting. She has many flaws and virtues conflicting, a fractured upbringing, interesting relationships with her cohorts, and a quiet destiny as the last ruler of her kind. A film like this I think would make a lot of people rethink what a Sonic story could be capable of, and maybe even elevate the opinion many people seem to have of 'furries' (whom I prefer to refer to as 'anthro enthusiasts') since it might show that for a character who resembles a giant squirrel, Sally could be very...for lack of a better term...human.

Sally is a character a lot of fans love to hate because of her oftentimes commanding and well nigh bitchy attitude, even directed at her primary object of affection Sonic. Maybe its the nostalgic blinders I have but I always considered her one of the more developed and interesting female characters at the time.
