Franz Scruffs is, by all accounts, a good man. His clinical studies subjects oft remark on his soft-spoken manner and warm personality. His neighbors view him as a valued part of the community. He is genuinely kind to children. A keystone player in his team at the pharmaceutical company for which he works. That said, it usually comes as a surprise to the poor sap --usually a subject lured in under the premise of "extended testing" at another location-- that suddenly finds himself face to face with the other side of Dr. Scruffs...
