Lucian Wheeler was subjected to untold amounts of harassment for being openly non binary in the USA armed forces.

They endured cyberbullying, stalking, identity compromising, slander, abuse, sexual assault, sexual abuse, and other horrible things. They were one of the finest pilots the USA could have offered, and yet they were almost lost to suicide. Privately they battled one of the worst demons known to man, and came out on top with consistency that only fighter pilots can manage. Lockheed Martin valued them as pilot to represent one of their machines, and so they were allowed to pose for a social media publicity event to promote Lockheed Martin's open endorsement of LGBTQIA individuals.
