It's me!☺️
Another Great poem by my Dear Friend
Dragon, Dragon , burning bright,
In the forests of the night;
Wait! The forest has been lit,
T'was the dragon what did it!
Traverse the very darkest skies,
Pierce the clouds with burning eyes!
On deft wing he does aspire
To seize the day and raze with fire!
Oh what dark and dreadful art,
Lies held deep within your heart?
Scales cold, internal heat,
Held within from snout to feet!
What lock will hold, what chain will bind,
Thy boldest heart, thy strongest mind?
What fool hero dares to grasp,
Those talons which with terror clasp?
Heaven almighty, shed your spears!
And water Earth with grateful tears,
That you the dragon can now see,
That he be known to you and me.
Dragon, dragon, burning bright!
Set this cold, dark world alight!
As above the land you fly,
Let us never say goodbye!

Oh, I get this poem! It's a reference to The Tyger by William Blake!
