The less powerful Sentra engine requires a hood scoop?
I like the color, and am glad you didn't fag it up with 42" larger than old west wagon size rims with rubber bands stretched around them. You actually do any performance mods to it, or is the wing just for show?
I'm a Datsun fanatic myself, I have a '79 280ZX, and an '85 300ZX I'm doing a custom Knight Rider conversion to, along with a Buick 3800 Supercharged engine swap. I just finished putting a built N/A 3800 out of an 04 Impala in my 86 Samurai.....it's rather peppy now with about 250HP and around 275~300ft/lbs. :)
I would give you shit for doting on an econobox, but even with a dink 35HP 4 cylinder I love my little truck....and a Samurai is anything but an econobox. It has the BOX part down pat.

Oooh, yeah a hollowed out Cat was a big step in livening up my 1.3. The Weber and 2" exhaust with a flowmaster is like night and day on a smaller displacement 4 cyl.
Now that I have a Buick powerplant under the hood, I'm having to unlearn all the preconceived notions of Japanese and import logic, and move to American Muscle.
I would make one suggestion though, ditch the K&N and go for AEM or AFE, any high flowing dry element filter is going to be better for your engine. ure the K&N flows better, but it allows a LOT more particulate matter to enter the intake. I had a friend with a Z06 Corvette who put one on and his oil was sludged out in less than a week, even using Mobil 1 full synthetic(the only oil I will run in my engines). He ruined the engine and had to have it Mained.....he switched to an AFE and a month later his oil was still nice golden liquid. K&N is a good way to ruin an engine, and I actually threw mine away.
Sure it's trendy and stylish, and it DOES flow better, but as I said, it allows a LOT of dirt in; same with any oil bath filter. I distrust them now, and will gladly take a slight CFM throughput hit to preserve my engine. All total I spent about 5 grand on building up my 3800....I really don't want to sludge it out with a crummy filter.
Oh, and you might want to put the resonator back on, as a rule, as far as I understand things, it helps with scavenging, and also it makes the car sound less like a Boy Racer fart can. LOL

Actually, my car doesn't sound like some fagged out Civic. I have videos with my car and you can hear the exhaust in it. I have also had no issue with a lot of crap in my oil. I change it regularly and it's as clean as normal. Plus, I can't afford to keep buying new, expensive air filters.
a reversed hood scoop really necessary?
like the cash spent for the hood mod, couldn't of it been used for like... i dont know... maybe a set of tein springs or something?
i mean, lowered stiffer springs get you improved handling and lowered appearance look.... a cosmetic and performance upgrade...

Your car would actually do well in a rally type situation even without a suspension upgrade. That is if the suspensions not to bad I don't know how many miles are on it. Nissan motors tend to be durable too so even if its somewhat high 80k to 100k you can still slap power adders onto it without much worry. When you have money if you don't have one already I'd invest in a strut tower brace for better cornering and a under drive pulley which should free up about 10 horsepower, more if you have anything else under the hood. Both are relatively cheap and easy to install so long as you have a torque wrench. An since you have a light car that extra boost will be more noticeable than if for instance you were driving my car which is a heavy bitch.
Yeah, we have a dirt road not too far from here that I sometimes drive on, and it's hella fun to slide. Also, when I did a straight pipe exhaust, that alone woke her up quite a bit. I'm planning on buying an engine from the local wrecker and rebuilding it, and then maybe rebuilding the transaxle as well just so I have a bit more reliability when I add more mods.
Were you planning on adding "boost" to your car sometime? If so I'd make sure the engine you get is rated for it, I think Nissan makes turbo and non turbo motors the difference being only minor but apparently it matters a lot. I just helped a friend do a transmission swap on his automatic 1987 Mazda RX7, switching over to manual. He got a junked turbo two rotor motor from a friend for free and he's currently in the process of rebuilding it, we'll be installing that that this spring. :P
I also like the fact that you're obviously quite mad, considering that you became immensly "butthurt" over being told the truth.
Now, if that's anything to ponder over, then how about your attempt at saying that Einsmann's statement is not at all witty, when you've already pretty much screwed yourself over considering that you've already proven that you have half the brain that he has after that huge bawwwfest that you held over in your gallery, before you brought your butthurt arse over here to blubber all over Einsmann's shoulder?
Protip: Grow up, get over it.
