I mean come on. RPGs were vilified in the 80s by crazy religious nuts for being "Satanic". Why not have actual Satanists in the comic?

The idea for Grims came to me a while back and I've actually written a bunch of strips featuring him. Its fun to mess with the Devil.

Oh, and the cleric chick here is a newb too. I actually invented her on the page but I kinda want to use her again because I'd like to develop the mythos of Gnarl while paying homage to the classic AD&D Cleric. Note the edged weapon...as much as I like riffing on old school RPG tropes I say fuck the blunt weapon limitation of classic clerics. Whatever the deity allows, baby.
