Born as a temporary fusion of Optimus Prime and Megatron, Optronix Prime is the self-proclaimed Fourteenth Prime, on the same level as the original Thirteen Primes. Intended for temporary use, Lux, Umbra, and Gaia wove a time-limit into his superstructure so he could take care of universal threats, such as Primacron.
