It's an action pose! I've been wanting to do a dynamic pose like this for a while, and I just haven't felt ambitious enough. Finally, it has happened.

Huh. When I see the phrase 'dynamic pose', actually, all I can think about is Mighty Guy (and his apt pupil Rock Lee)'s 'Dynamic Entry' attack... but maybe I watched my mate play 'Naruto: Ultimate Ninja' on our PS2 one too many times.
... Or I'm insane. Whichever. :)
Either way, a very nice picture. Very dynamic indeed, and I like the determined look on his face. To me, adding shades would detract from that.

Heheh. Not surprising, since I have a tendency to quote somewhat obscure crap sometimes. Drives my mate nuts, but hey.
In this case, it's a reference to the highly popular anime series 'Naruto', and two of the characters in the series. The attack itself is a pretty simple jump-kick after either of them distracts their opponents with a thrown knife. In the game, it's one of the 'partner-attacks' you can use with some of the characters, so I heard a lot. That and Orochimaru's phrase 'Grass Halbred! Death in one cut!'
