Zebidiah Clemons was a Freed Slave who joined the U.S. 10th Cavarly Division to fight the Indian Heathen hordes terrorizing Settlers in Kanas & Oklahoma...In 2 Years He attained the rank of Capt. in a battlefied Promotion,but for politcal reasons,he submitted to a honorable Discharge,and Headed West....Just Outside of Paradise,Wyoming(Game Town) He ran affoul of Jackson Gang,who felt a Man of His station shouldn't Have a fine Horse,Rifle & Saddlebags....He fought valiantly,but outnumbered 10-to-1;the outcome was never in Doubt...The Gang figured a quick Lynching would take care of him...Lucky for him for it was too Quick - struggling for his life against the Hastily made noose,He was able to survive - with help of a Simon Jiminez,who was a witness to the crime...after a month of Convalence at His home(during which he developed a friendship with Maria,Simon's daughter)..Zebidiah snuck into town to plot how to bring those Men to Justice....After Besting BAD Billy Jackson in a Bar-fight,Our hero met up with "Cat" Stevens,Trinity Jr. & some other like-minded citzens who thought the town would better off without the GANG in the area.Wearing a Neckerchief to hide his Noose Burns & Taking the "Buffalo Kid" moniker,Zebidiah & the others made a point of Harrassing the Jacksons at every turn,'til a showdown was a foregone conclusion...Maria Jiminez was sure an ambush was part of the Jackson Gang's plan,so she staked out Wiley's Draw with her daddy's long rifle,and got off enough shots on the ambushers to make it an even fight - When the smoke cleared,the Jacksons were running & limping for hills:The Heroes weren't much better off,with several needed Doctors and a few needing a place on Boot Hill.....
