Even writing this reply is the culmination of an epic adventure if you think about it.* Very good V, though I have to admit I don't like peas... ;)
*I remember watching a documentary years ago which showed hunter-gatherers picking their way along a sea-shore and foraging for seaweed, it gave me the strangest feeling, I remember thinking, "How did we get from *that* to *this?*", or as Larry Niven had one of his characters say the entirety of human history is one long series of hair-raising adventures ;) (actually he depicted humanity as an unusually lucky species with other races commenting on it)

now that's something I'd love to have seen... it's true - when looking at our forebears, one does have to wonder how the heck we have come this far... mostly by killing each other off I suppose. 'The 13th Warrior' by Michael Crichton (aka 'Eaters of the Dead) was a story about the Norse Vikings at odds with the Wendol - which I took to be Neanderthals. Every generation had small advancements, some by accident, and some by simple observation. I remember the story of how maple syrup was invented by our Native Americans. A cooking pot was set up under a maple tree that was leaking sap - which fell into the pot. The contents turned sweetened - and there you go.
Did we have help? I think surely we must have upon occasion.

You are very welcome, yes you are welcome to use the quote after all it was shared with me some 30 years ago by someone had it said with them when they needed to hear it.
When you start grasping what the subconscious is and does you start to understand "As you think, so as you are." The subconscious makes no judgement calls so it takes what the conscious mind tells it and tries to make it real. I have seem this so many times play out in my life and more importantly others. State of mind and attitude is key. You will never hear that said in any church.
