Personal edification and I would love to one day do a comic on the whole as a practical guide for self defense. Any pearls you think ought to go in it under a heading "basic practical principles?"

"When in danger or in doubt, run in circles, scream and shout!" Believed to have originated in the American military during or shortly before WWII Though it proves impossible to trace to one person. Its meaning in the military was when in doubt of what to do make a show of force disproportional to your ability (if nothing else you will scare them). However in the context of personal self defense it can be taken to mean my personal motto in regards to any sort of fight "When in doubt, RUN!" (Away).
