Meifen is Princess of Lao'Hu, the only daughter of Empress Dongmei, who has long sought worthy men for her little pearl. But all in vain, no one can cope with her whims, leaving the capital with gifts on their faces in the form of fresh scars. Eventually the Empress decides to take a risky step: she instructs her daughter to find a suitor herself.
