It has been ages since Teddog and Pyat had an adventure! We finally got to go on one in late October, and explored parts of Toronto I'd never seen. Photo taken on a Soviet Agat-18K half-frame camera on cheap Shanghai GP3 film.

Thank you in turn for sharing a picture of your excellent Ted-of-Heart riding on that Flexity tram! ^_^ I haven't been on one in a good several months; with the track work and overhead pickup upgrades between Queen and Dundas, up Broadview and my home not far from Broadview Station, if I have needed a 504 (King) or 505 (Dundas) it's been a bus ride as opposed to a streetcar. TTC travel has been a rarity for me in the first place, with everything health-wise that's been going on.
I am thoroughly chuffed that the both of you visited, and I hope you had an excellent mutual holiday and tram-riding business! <3 You are always welcome in turn for the words I craft; whether a kind tip-and-nod or a poem written, I am at your service, and my kindness is always ready to meet you.

It was only my third time being on a street car of any kind! I always found the surface TTC intimidating and would stick to subways or looong walks when I was school/working in Toronto. It was nice to have a local guide, as it were.
(Ooh, just to clarify, Teddog is a close friend and a lovely person but not a romantic partner. <3)

Aoup, 2Paw did not know the Tram was much less familiar- and less comfortable thus- for a Pyat-friend. I didn't mean to assume that familiarity on your behalf, and I'm very sorry about doing so. Streetcars have been the opposite of that for me all of my life; my first TTC trips were on the old maroon-and-dark-cream round-topped PCCs in the late 1970s and early 1980s, tho' I suppose in fairness if the sound of the hydraulics and clockety-clack wheeltrucks and the size of the tram-beasts within and without filled with me with any discomfort or unease, my Da was there with me, and we were very close in the overlap of our lifetimes. Thus your excellent friend Teddog was there with you, and both company and instruction of use (the automatic payment machine near the middle, or your temporary scanner-ticket or PRESTO card), filled a similar role as my Da did for me, in kindness and mutual company of person and transit.
I wish you could've met my Da, as I think he would've been very fond of meeting you. He's been Upstairs for more than fifteen years, and his 85th birthday would've been this past Tuesday, on November the 2nd. But what he left strong inside of my heart and treasured memories, I feel sure you have known through me and our friendship shared. Good stuffs!
