Ooo, is that inkwash? And there's a lot to see here, so shut up O:

I like what you did with the background here...I mean, instead of using a flat one-colour surface you've actually made the effort to make it look as interesting as the characters. It's like every panel could work just as well if they were separate drawings...as in, the separate panels tell a story even without a context of the whole comic page... Does that even make sense?

Ahm, yes! That is indeed inkwash (Daler-Rowney Jet Black India 010 of the Calli brand if you're interested), carefully mixed with water twice to get the proper colors.

Ahah, I understand what you mean I think. Instead of seeing panels you're seeing many actual drawings inside of one actual drawing, right? That's pretty awesome if you think that, I really hadn't noticed it myself. Then again, I drew this at like... 2:30 AM, because I don't know what sleep is anymore. :B

And yes, I will probably make moar. But I will have to practice inkwashing; I am NOT happy with the huge shade differences of the skyyyyyy.

Repta doesn't seem happy with me either. Surely I will be the first to die. ;_;

I highly approve of inkwash and give this work two thumbs up (would give you four, alas- I'm not a lemur)...that's some fancy ink, too. I always use the cheap Czech ink xD

That's what I wanted to say (but failed), yes. And it seems that lack of sleep serves you well, then...I'd just drop dead on top of the page and spill the ink everywhere at that hour, derp :B

Inkwash is haaard...BUT you're being too hard on yourself- I think the tone differences in the sky work really nice here; they add to the disturbing atmosphere, I dunno. I like that.

Is Repta unhappy about the sky, too? If she is, well...can SHE draw it better?! GOSH >:C

I just wanted a happy sky. Happy, dark sky. Happy, dark, EVEN sky. But my brush said...

"Look, this isn't how it works. I'm gonna make this spot here really dark, and this spot here really light, which doesn't make sense since you're using the same ink."

And I told the brush;

"Damn you! I'll just dab some paper on it so it'll look the same!"

But the brush won, and raped me.

But I am glad you like it. <:3

I like the layout - all those sharp angles accentuate the mood here giving a slightly crazed feel...
