Riding hood's shadow 14
The creature sat outside the cabin wondering what he was even doing there at this point. Grumbling to himself in a low growl before looking over at the place he had seen her digging. She had seemed oddly focused on this patch of dirt. If she really was planning to do anything this would be the last place for him to check. Digging his long claws into the dirt along the section she had worked on. Clawing at the dirt, he dug around, making his way around the oddly bare section of ground. After he was satisfied there was nothing buried here, no traps or weapons just dirt and old plant roots, he shook off his claws and gave out a small snort.
Nothing but just a strange villager after all. He walked off back into the forest.
Come morning Maria awoke and made sure to eat at least a few nibbles before would start doing more work today. Her hands were sore and stiff as she slowly clenched them as walked toward the door. He continued to move her hands to relieve the stiffness, not looking forward to continuing to plow the soil around the garden, but it was something she'd have to get done as soon as possible if hoped to get anything to grow before the weather turned. She was pondering other ways she might be able to work the soil when she rounded the back of the cabin and saw the garden plot. She paused startled as saw the entire area had been dug through and broken up. She swallowed nervously as neared and noticed random large claw streaks through the dirt. From the sheer size of them it had to be that creature she had seen before, but why would it plow up the garden plot. Looking around a bit there was no sign it was anywhere near. Had...had it done this to help her? She walked around the cabin a bit still looking before uttering a soft 'Hello?' to no reply.
'T-thank you' she called out into the forest. Holding her hurt hands to her chest she actually felt relieved she wouldn't have to dig through that whole plot herself anymore.
