Well, I got some company tonight. As I went to lower the blinds in my room for the night, I noticed this large green mass on the outside of my windowsill. Upon closer inspection, I find it is a frog of decent size. It's been some time since I've seen a frog, and I live on a hill with no lake or pond or any real source of water for some distance. So seeing him chilling up there after having climbed up my window was something of a pleasent surprise, as I love being able to observe wildlife of any kind up close (like that bat that flew into the cabin during camp, but that's another story). There were some heavy rains around here recently, which might have promted some of his travel. Still, it's non-domesticate wildlife up close and not running, which is cool.
This is also the closest I can remember getting my face to a frog, and his plus shaped pupils are really cool to look at He's still chilling there, though I doubt he'll be there come morning. This was taken with my cell phone, which has a 5 megapixel camera, and I think it came out all right. unfortunately I couldn't zoom in any closer and get focus, and I was trying to take a picture through glass. But still, this came out pretty well. Cute little bugger, Ain't he?
Also, that is my computer, and room, in the reflection,
