I recently made one of these for a friend for her birthday, and I decided I needed one as well! =P
The eye itself is labradorite that just happened to be very eye-like, and I made a wire frame for it for stability before crafting the rest out of air-dry clay. It was then painted with acrylics and sealed for added durability! ^^
