Being an advanced artificial intelligence, SvarOS has to have some means of interacting in "meat space" with the rest of his species. As such, he has created advanced biodrones that help around the ship, with guests, and even conduct his bidding. They are all connected via a high-speed quantum communication system that allows him to control a biodrone anywhere. Each biodrone represents a facet of himself and is controlled by other routines but can be taken over more directly should the need arise.
Fortunately, the biodrones are not sentient on their own. In fact, the drones contain the most minimal possible brain needed for bodily regulation and were grown this way to avoid the need for "volunteers."
