I don't get it D:

The sign than the Undead is using on the Troll is known as an "Intellect" buff in the game. After receiving said buff the troll is available to "understand" the comic, heh.

I also find the comic hard to get for non-initiates:
- The magic symbol and the troll comprehension happen in te same square, so the cause/effect relation isn't obvious (a symbol in the previous square and a fading symbol in the last would have been clearer)
- The troll seems to point at the hole he just made in the sheet, so one may believe that it's somehow linked with understanding (like: there was one square too much in the comic, and removing it allowed the troll to understand ?)

Well anyway the art is great, And this Tauren character is especially sexy!

I understand, but you also need to understand that the comic is mostly related to WoW, not other stuff. So probably to understand the joke you would need to understand the game and their icons and stuff first.

lol Nah. I think the facial expressions, the title and a passing fancy with Fantasy in general carries it off for everybody to understand what's goin on.

The use of blue and the image of the eye makes it clear that a spell that raises intelligence was used, so it's all good, in general.

...And it's kinda bad, because I have a Troll Mage :(

But dunno, if someone doesn't quite understand that the blue sign means "Intel Buff" then some people will just not understand it. :P

lol I reckon so, though I'dve gotten it before playing WoW. Blue usually's magick-related, in most RPGs, and the fact that he brightened up at the end was pretty obvious that the spell was one that increased his brainpower :P
