Despite heavy losses after the Great Interstellar War, the Republic's military quickly regained strength and reformed their doctrines after looking back at their mistakes with their war with the Empire. Like the Imperials, they became a force to be reckoned with over the passing years. From clearing out pirate bases, defending neutral colonies near the Republic's border, defending Republic worlds from Imperial Radicals, and assaulting Imperial Radical worlds.
