My half of an art trade with
shiko-squirrel
I wanted to do something different and I wanted to get something out of drawing this that I've always felt when looking at Shiko's art. A sense of fun that feels very whimsical and fresh in a way I felt as a child drawing with crayons...so I drew this using crayons.
I drew nine separate pieces on sketchbook paper then assembled them in a collage in Macromedia Freehand. I skewed them somewhat for artistic effect but also to hide the fact that the lines don't exactly match up. I had no master to go by, each page was done while sitting near the previous piece.
If I were to attempt this again I would sketch it out small first, graph it and then do the big version, but in the meantime I thing this came out ok.
I REALLY HOPE YOU LIKE THIS SHIKO!
