Robot Beast Jan, was the 49th monster of the week in Ep.42 of the Jeeg anime; The Humanoid type Beast had Yellow/Red/Black color scheme and like Jeeg it had Magnetic Abilities, though it control the multicolored shell that made up the Meteor it hid in - its only other weapon were saw Rings.

Launched from the Orochi in Orbit, Jan (encase in a Meteor) crashes in the forest close to Build Base; Hiroshi and Miwa head to investigate when the beast comes out of the Meteorite and attacks Hiroshi. When he transforms and assembles Jeeg, the Beast use its magnetic powers to encase him in the Meteor Shell, then lifts it to the Orochi in Orbit, where Amaso and Ikima proceed to have the Mecha Melted in Lava.

Left unopposed, Jan attacks Build Base, dealing with its defenses, Big Shooter and MechaDon2. Computer Father/Prof. Shiba launches the Capsule into Orbit to rescue Jeeg, who by now had his legs melted. Meanwhile, Dragon shows up to demand the Base's surrender or face destruction.

The Capsule fights Orochi and rips a hole in the Hull, the Lava is release and Jeeg escapes - Pantheroid is launch, connecting with the Mecha; Jeeg returns to Earth, the Emperor retreats, leaving the Mecha to take on Jan in a brief Fight - blasting its Legs with Pantheroid Missile, then finishing it off with Coup de Grace.
