It took a while to get these completed, but now they are installed and sound great!
I ordered these as a bundle. The Bass Drum, Snare Drum, Hi Hat, and Clap modules use synthesis for producing their sounds rather than samples. They sound really nice for the short time I've played with them and tried several of the sounds. Each one has 4 banks of 4 choices, and the capability of loading in more presets via SD card slot. I'm definitely going to have fun programming these. It's really nice to have dedicated drums.
I also have to comment that I got this kit bundle from Thonk (https://www.thonk.co.uk/), and it is by far the best kits I have built so far. I really like the Befaco kits, but Thonk did a stellar job with the documentation and instructions. I would highly recommend these for anyone looking for affordable drum modules.
