I did this after seeing Toy Story 3 and being reminded of one of my favorite childhood toys, Toto c: I got him as a gift when I was 3 and he hailed from Japan (my aunt and uncle lived there for a few years and he was a present from them). He came with a little removable collar, which I of course lost immediately. But I replaced it with a red hair tie, thus saving him from the dog catchers and starting our buddyship. Toto was an adventurer who traveled by sea (in a boat that was really a holiday napkin holder) and was grateful to be able to explore again without worrying about being arrested.

Toy Story 3 had me cryin' the whole time, and I'm not much of a crier so it was crazy!
I know what it's like to have a companion toy like you did too. Mine was a dalmation stuffed animal named Pogo (cause I wanted to be original from Pongo on 101 Dalmations XD) and we went everywhere together!
