The first colored picture to be submitted to my gallery, and also the first B-Day gift I've made. The picture feature's LoopyWolf's character, Lewis (AKA Loopy), appearing as he is in his comic "WereIWolf", as well as my fanfic related to his comic. This character in a follow up fanfic is also the reason Ryona is a werewolf. You can read the fanfics, once I get them finished, on LoopyWolf:'s website: https://www.wolfwares.ca and look for "WereIWolf".
I intentionally stopped at Loopy's legs because I didn't want to make it too big so it gets cut out by the scanner. I also knew the scanner would make the colors appear lighter than what they actually are, which is why the colors appear darker than I intended to. This character was possibly one of the toughest to draw because he has no particularly "fixed" lines for the gray parts of his fur; the same kind of trouble applied with the tail and elbow. I hope it doesn't look bad in those areas ^^; . I used a combination of marker for the eyes and outlines, and colored pencil for the fur, collar, and tag.
Here's a poem to go with the picture:
Loopy, the cute werewolf.
When I first saw you, you caught my eye.
Then in time, you instilled the werewolf image into my mind.
You've inspired my imagination, and with such talent, you would inspire many another.
To such an artist and friend I give you this, a picture of marker, pen, and pencil, sketched from the depths of my talent, and my deepest wishes of a very Happy Birthday to you from the bottom of my heart.
Life goes by fast; grasp every second like its your last, and live out your life to the fullest.
Happy Birthday, Loopy!!
That was all to it and he liked it. ^^
