Edit 10/9/24: I am working on removing neck quills and adding large alligator back scales all the way down the neck to the middle end of the tail. Please see this bust image for reference: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/56192600/
Edit 4/8/23: For those who have seen this already, there are minor changes and tweaks. Probably not something noticeable enough unless you’re looking for it. I shortened the beak and horns a little and slimmed the neck quills so they appear more bouncy and less stiff.
Edit: I've decided this color palette is more accurate than previous iterations. For the moment at least... This evokes the colors of a storm much more than the saturated colors I had recently.
Original:
Yes, he has warmer colors in warmer months and darker colors in colder months.
I also reinstated alligator scutes on the body and made his horns a better shape. Not much else to see since I'm constantly recoloring the same image and I need to draw him more. Oops. XD
PS: Dang, now that FA did an overhaul on the species categories, do I use Western Dragon or Water Dragon???
