Abilities: Havardr possesses a unique variant of ice manipulation, in that he can generally control ice that he manifests in the form of prism-like ice crystals. Depending on the intensity of the sunlight beaming through these crystals, they can also produce various effects through the rainbow light they create from the sunlight. These effects can bolster Havardr or his allies, or become detrimental to enemies. On top of that, Havardr is a physically resilient individual, possessing super durability and enhanced strength. He is a decent hand-to-hand combatant.

Weaknesses: Havardr's ice is unusual in that it cannot be melted by fire, but anyone who can control water or ice is able to counter his power by controlling his ice crystals themselves. He is also prone to leaping to the defense of his friends, relying on his super durability, and that can be taken advantage of. Last, but not least, while he is much more durable than most, he is still mortal and receiving enough damage or being hit with higher caliber weapons will do the trick.

Personality: Havardr is a jolly and kind gentleman, preferring to talk things through and be kind to anyone no matter how they're acting towards him. He treasures his friends, especially his teammates, and wishes nothing but the best for them. Even to the point of taking on a nickname for others to have an easier time pronouncing his name.

Background: Havardr is descended from a Viking who possessed a similar power to his own, a gene inherited ability that seemed to pick and choose who it surfaced in. He's had his power from birth but never accidentally used it because it requires specific focus to manifest, so he only tried it after hearing the story from his grandfather on a fishing trip. To both their surprise, he was able to use it, and after a lot of consideration with back and forth arguing between his parents, he decided to spare them the trouble and departed to learn about this power on his own, visiting various Nordic countries to study about his ancestors and this power, with the help of his grandfather.

Eventually he got a good understanding and grip of his powers, but then his grandfather advised him to seek further experience in it by training, and to use it for the people's benefit as their ancestors did as ancient heroes. That's how he entered the superhero league, through a crash course examination that ended up getting him on a team alongside Aeroblade, Terraheart, and Agent Scaldamander, later on including Magistar as well. And thus, Bifrost was officially active.

In time, after he was assigned to his own city, he would meet and train the hopeful hero that would become Shock Dragon.

And with Agent Scaldamander being inspired by  Rubberbuns's Wildfire, Bifrost was inspired by Frostbite. As with the last image, the inspirations are obvious, but moreso here as Bifrost is a polar bear like Frostbite. This is due in part to the fact I had made a polar bear mentor of Shock's mentioned in my Coast City story, and I wanted to keep to that idea to avoid needlessly retconning it.
