Abilities: Magistar's power is unique, he is able to control and manipulate Aether, though to a limited degree. He can only project it in an energy form, either as magic missiles or to support others. He is able to heal others and boost their lifeforce to enhance their attributes or powers momentarily, but this, in turn, drains his own stamina rapidly. He knows decent hand-to-hand combat, but the nature of his powers means he has to stay away from the frontlines.

Weaknesses: Due to his power originating in the arcane, anyone who can suppress magic or drain either magic or stamina has an advantage over him. The nature of his powers also makes him more receptive to pain or negative emotions afflicted by an outside source.

Personality: Studious, well-mannered, and curious, Xander is curious about life itself and what it can offer. Even as a prince, he looked at each day with a bright shine in his eyes alongside a wide smile, eager to learn the mysteries that await him. So when his powers surfaced, he was thrilled at the prospect of studying the mystery of Aether firsthand, as well as the whole matter of superheroics. Though he does find the need for flashy costumes a bit silly, yet he takes to it fairly well.

Background: Xander is a prince of the Arkhall Kingdom, making him brother to Rail and several other royal children, but his ability with Aether surfacing after he hit adulthood concerned his family, who had never dealt with such an element before, especially one with raw potential.

After talking it over with his father, King Reijihal, Xander decided the best course of action was to study and train at a superhero academy, which in turn would eventually lead him into joining that unnamed league as the apprentice hero Magistar, working on a team cell he was assigned to during his time there. He befriends the other members of that team, Aeroblade, Terraheart, Agent Scaldamander, and Bifrost. Upon graduation, he became the superhero Magistar and opted to operate in the city that is home to the superhero academy he had gone to, but he still keeps in contact and meets up with his teammates regularly.

A surprise addition! Since I had covered all four elements in fire, water(ice), earth, and air, I thought why not go the extra mile and add Aether, the Fifth Element, to the mix? And so, the concept behind Magistar was born! And of course, whereas Agent Scaldamander is not a lion, I decided to go with that for Magistar!
