With certain members of the Autobots, a question mark arises about why they chose to fight for them. Between the ominous black-and-red aesthetics, the disfigured face, and abnormal weaponry, Charybdis stands out as one of the biggest ones. Stranger still, the mech is a former high priest of the Church of Unicron, devoted to bringing back The Worldeater and archenemy of Primus to the universe. While one may think he simply left, he is candid about his actual reasons for leaving. According to him, a vision from Unicron told him that the only way to bring him back was through the victory of the Autobots and Optimus Prime in the Cybertronian Civil War. When he tried to inform his flock about this, he was mocked and ridiculed by them, leading to his excommunication from the church and subsequent disfiguration. Despite that, he is still firm in his beliefs about the return of Unicron and works for the Autobots to make his revelation come true.
