Nah, the Corvair was a good selling car that people liked. The Allente was a car of its time that was staggeringly expensive to buy and lost resale value so fast it was tragic. It was highly anticipated and when the professional reviews came out it was well praised but few people felt it was worth losing $30,000 just driving it off the lot.
