Might as well post this here, for people that wanna know more about the other Space Spores! =3



Death Spores, and Jelly Spores are Genetically, related to each other! (also in physical appearance)
And both can live in deep space!

But they are vary different , in behavior, and Social structure!



Death Spores are highly intelligent, But have no culture, and very little social structure. They simply live to eat.

They are also asexual, (technacly female) they either Eat and grow, or Eat and copy themselves.

Their bodies are made up of an light, Acidic, Jelly Membrane, That lacks Density. so when they ingest sold matter Their bodies grow Dramatically!
It doesn't take them long before that can eat things as big as Buildings, and Star ships!

There Cute, but it is highly recommended, not to keep them as pets... over time they can, and will eat everything you own, including you!




Jelly Spores on the other hand, use there intelligence, and have a form of culture, and a strong social structure!

They have a few tiny colonies, on a few small planets, scattered across the galaxy, with crude Gelatin structures, they build from the Jelly in their bodies!
They are vary affectionate species, And will try to find mates amongst other races! (similar to the Shrell)

Their bodies are similar to the death spore's, but non Acidic, and bit softer. Their texture is also vary sweet, as is the Gelatin their bodies produce.
A number of Alien species, consider them (or there jelly) to be a delicious Delicacy! (Jelly spores don't like being eaten, But don't mined if you eat the jell they produce)
...and don't try to cook them... they Explode! XD;;

Despite there Tentacle like nature, it is a misrepresentation to call them 'Tentacle monsters'.
They are not Sexually Aggressive, and do not force themselves on others. rather they opt for more subtle means of persuasion, using Pheromones, and affectionate social interaction, to get closer to the individuals they wish to mate with!

It is also recommended, Not to keep them as pets ether.
Over time they will, attempt to court you, and eventuly attempt to enter a Sexual relationship!
If you do not reciprocate, they will become depressed, and eventuly try to leave, to fined some one who will.
And if you attempt to confine them, they will become frustrated, and will start to resent you!

One last thing. the enzymes in Jelly spore Jell, is resistant to the acid in Death Spores. if you eat Jelly spore jelly, you don't have to worry about being digested by a Death spore... at least for a while!
