I'm always so happy when i hear an artist or simply a friend who loves to comfort who is feeling down, maybe with a precious gift. And you Mittens made my day to find out the main purpose of this artwork. ^-^
And yes, i can happily tell the same. Nana is such a wonderful dog, it's very nice to have at least one illustration of her as a solo character. All those fireflies then are a delicious touch to complete this amazing piece in sweet style.
