Gorgeous art~ How hard was it to swap the wing on yours for an aftermarket one, did you need a fresh trunk lid or did the bolt holes for the stock one line up with the aftermarket?

The bolt holes of the original wing fit with the aftermarket one. I only had to drill an extra pair of holes but it was an easy task, I used the same trunk!

Awesome, I've been debating swapping my wing out sometime as well, just worry about having to swap out trunk lids and drilling more holes ya know?

For sure. The GTC-300 is a good wing, just make sure you paint it. The carbon fiber gloss coat is not UV stable and will yellow and crack under the sun. Also be mindful of the added drag.

Oooo thanks for the info, didn't even think of that! I'll definitely keep that in mind, do you think vinyl wrap would protect it, or would paint be best? As for drag, no worries there, I'll be actively tweaking and tuning the wing angle till I get the feel I want out of it.

Yush, figured I would get the wing done when I get the car done as well; absolutely love my STI to death, but I really wish I had been able to find a blue one.

I might eventually, though for now and given where I live, vinyl wrap would be best given the frequency of hits and nicks my car is likely to accumulate.
