Tama slowly padded up to the tip of pride rock, careful not to startle her mourning friend. Nala never came down anymore. Not since the accident in the gorge. This whole thing had hit her and Sarabi the hardest.
Nala spent all day gazing out over the pride lands. If Tama didn't bring her food up to her, she didn't eat. As she set her friend's meal down she heard a weak voice say "This was all going to be ours, Tama..."
