We were actually thinking one of the other two horses that live out with her and my aunt may have kicked her.. After the ferrier comes out and trims their hooves and everything, they're generally really sharp. :<

sounds like you have a shitty farrier. they should be nice and rounded when trimmed properly

Like I was saying, she was perfectly fine when the ferrier, who probably would have noticed something, came out, and when my aunt was giving her a bath, so.. Yeah. I hope she'll be okay too. :<

I'm pretty sure my aunt will take wonderful care of her... she has thus far. My horse got really thin there for a while, and my aunt went out and got a special feed for her until she got back to a good weight. But, unfortunately, it's like.. an hour long drive to get out to where both my aunt, and my horsie live, so.. I don't get to see her every day with school going on and everything.

thats good, because a cut like that gets infected really easily and could make the horse lame. I'm glad she is in good hands! i have a few horses myself, and hate to see them go lame.

She took off on me a while back, and I broke my wrist, and she did the same to my aunt, only she landed on her head and it really screwed up her memory and ability to think there for a while.

But.. I'm not out to make Allie sound evil. She's a really cool horse... as long as you're not riding her... unless you're my aunt's husband.. who is the only person who can ride her, and she's like.. the best horse ever.

If there wasn't any bleeding, I'd be suspicious, because it may have been cauterized. Cow Mutilations and "Horse ripping" are on the rise. in most cases, the animal in question ends up dead, but a few get lucky and escape.
I don't believe that the government or aliens are behind this (Unlike popular conspiracy theory suggests), just psychopaths with nothing better to do.

There are sick, sick people out there. Watch your horse whenever you can. Have a weapon nearby.

Like I said to someone further up, I live pretty far from here, and the closest thing my aunt has to a weapon is her shovel, which she uses to kill snakes.. but... that's another topic...

And the closest thing to a psychopath my aunt has where she lives is her overly OCD neighbor, and all the kids that live around her are like... seven, at the oldest, so.. I'm pretty sure it isn't them.

Yeah. He already came and left, and they already sewed up her leg, and gave her some meds to take for a while. So.. she's doing good now.

good luck with your horse, i hope the wound heals up pretty well, she must have snuck up behind the other horse to get it to kick her... unless they just dont like eachother

Allie just thinks she's the boss and has to kick the crap out of the other two (Babe and Poncho, who are both older than her,) to prove it. :/

mmm i had that issue with one of our rats, the young one came in and had to prove her dominance , but after a while they all got along
