Commission for 
DragonHeart07 of Whisper the Wolf from the IDW Sonic comics. This is the 3rd commission we've done of her. She is a cute one.
Up until this vaporwave image, which was finished early October, I had been drawing the background mountains as a wireframe. Which isn't bad on its own, but if the wire is too bright, I think it distracts from the character. Making the mountains silhouetted against brighter clouds and the dark sky allows you to still show depth without distracting as much from the character. So...I think I'm slowly getting better at this kind of stuff.
This is the first drawing where I've had the grid cast light on the character. I think it looks really cool and makes it seem like Whisper is actually in that environment. Same with the blue tint added to the overall scene. But seeing as how this is a "flat color" commission, that's about as far as I can go.
