That is kindof a scary thought to think about: all your friends died, so what do you do? Well, do they have a reason to take their lives? If so, does the cub there have a good reason? Should he follow them to their doom, or live? One needs a very good and solid reason why they should take their own life.

All I hope is that the cub there wont follow in their footsteps and continue to live.

technically... the drawing depicts that when discovering all his friends were dead, he did indeed jump. It is mostly to poke a fallacy into the old fogey argument "If your friends did something stupid, would you?", which by now has become a wearied and trite statement that has almost completely lost its meaning.

But you're right. the events depicted, nevermind their low level of quality, are themselves in their execution not realistic. There are many levels of matters that have not been expressed.

when I drew the picture, I actually first imagined that, for 'research accuracy purposes', Generic News rounded up all of 'timmy's friends and bodily hurled them off the bridge; murdered to prove the point of the above-referenced fragment of 'old wisdom'. And the subsequent failure of the mainstream conservative class to relate to the naive, inexperienced, unjaded youth.

I suppose it says a lot of things. But for the record, no, even if your friends did all jump off a bridge, it would be even more sad if you did too.
