This piece remains one of my personal favorites, and is the first fully free-handed vector drawing I've made. Freehanding is drawing vectors on-the go, which results in natural shakeynisess of the hand. This way you get around of the clinical 'smoothness' of vector images, and the shapes look more like they were drawn using a brush.
Needless to say, I still prefer this technique over the old any day.. ;)
