Appearing in a reading shows that the Hummingbird is there for you to lighten your mood as you work hard to reach the goals you have put before yourself. Sing loud and proud, but buckle down and get things done! This week will provide you with a different sort of joy than the usual outburst of energy that this guide represents. Do not be afraid of hard work or solitude. Use the energy of this week to engage in your own abilities. Don't rely on the voice of others or the ease of natural abilities. Instead, tap into the Reversed Hummingbird to push aside your doubts and fears by using them as fuel to grow even stronger and hardier. Dig in and get it done! Don't let curve balls stop your flow. This week's Rune is Dagaz! This Rune is symbolized as the balance between night and day which lends to it's meaning as a balance between polarities. It represents the times of the year when the sun is at it's highest and represents the light of the day. As the sun crests the sky each day to fill the world with light, Dagaz is considered the Rune of enlightenment. When evolving, we first find the light within ourselves and then we are able to grow it to encircle us and shine on the world around us. Connect this week with Dagaz in order to understand the magic in both the light and the dark so that you may find fuel from the passionate flames of fire or to move without fear in the darkness. Dagaz connects the ability to harness power and opportunity with the wisdom of how and when to use it. Fire can be powerful, but it can also burn. Dagaz aids us in finding the balance. In the Internal Influence, we see the spirit guide Elk. This week will be a time of abundance. Allow yourself to indulge in more plant foods and to eat foods that promote energy and stamina. This week will show you to move with a regal, but humble manner. Recognize the ability, strength, and intelligence within yourself. Remember, however, that ignorance is not bad. Only that remaining ignorant is detrimental. It is ok to constantly learn. Engage in your intended areas of study with dignity and an open mind. Consider taking time to meditate. Connect with the energies within your environment as well as within yourself. There may be a spirit or divinity trying to communicate with you and meditation may allow you to recognize what signs are may be missing. Elk are also symbols of love. There may be an increase in romance, friendship, or family ties coming up for you this week. Show affection and care for those you find important. When the Elk spirit guide shows up, this is often a reminder to us to engage in recognizing and increasing our personal talents, skills, and spiritualism.
