Whew, quite a long time since the last post! Our little Diego has actually already been born by now - he was born last night, November the 15th, a healthy child with a straightforward natural birth and no problems for either him or Leto.
I'm thoroughly dazed by happiness and tiredness now. The last three months were by far the most intense and busy months of my life: in that span of time, in addition to running after doctors and clinics for the many pregnancy medical exams, we got married, we renovated home transforming most of it, I moved my studio from home to a separate space in a nearby building, I underwent physiotherapy for tendonitis, and I won't even list the myriad other small things that were complicated by all the restrictions and fears brought forth by the pandemic. I'm not exaggerating much when I say I haven't had the time to post drawings or updates - most evenings we barely had the energy to watch some movie or just chill together planning for the future. But we made it and we are happier than ever to begin this new phase of our lives.
Unsurprisingly then the recurring theme of the last three drawings in this series is tiredness. This one was sketched during a short vacation to the sea we took right after our marriage at the end of September.

Congrats Scale! I know exactly what you are going thru. I have been in same situation here just one and half year ago. My wife got pregnant, so we decide to marry and move to new home etc... it is rough. Next months will be rough too. With first child you have to learn a lot. And you will definitely challenge your limits of poor sleeping etc. But after all it will make you stronger, much more stronger. You will realise you can handle situations you never thought you would be possible. :D Best luck, have fun and don't worry too much.
