Red as a kid

Due to living in a not-so-safe neighborhood, she wasn't allowed to leave home by herself. However, as her rebellious side developed, she started to sneak out late at night.

She could leave this way, sure, but being alone by herself so long, being taught how dangerous other people are, caused her to put up a wall around her heart, such that anyone trying to get close to her automatically puts her in fight-back mode.

So, she would just sneak out to hang out alone at a nearby park, drawing ducks and birds and the environment. She became astoundingly good at it.
