My zodiac animal is the fire rabbit (1987). I always thought it would be cool to have a character based around that...I was really edgy tonight as I sometimes experience random fits of anxiety and feverishness, and cannot sleep or stay still...so I put on some music and put that into this. It's got that gritty, thick line, dirty look I like and it fits him well I think.

This is Nick. Nick was born with a curse. Nick is constantly and incurably angry. Always, Growing up was difficult for him, but was given direction and discipline by his older brother. He is constantly experiencing an adrenaline rush, a feverish, burning feeling inside which he mediates by keeping constantly active. He tends to eat a lot to fuel his very active metabolism. He cannot sleep until he is totally and completely physically exhausted, often staying awake for 24+ hours before crashing and sleeping for 6-8 hours depending on how he spent his time while awake.

Although he is irritable and angry due to his curse, he has a sharp, often harsh sense of justice, never abusing those in the right but unafraid to confront those who are in the wrong. Because he is difficult to get along with, he has learned to forgive the trespasses of his loved ones quickly so as to not accidentally dispense upon them undue anger...
"Right, are you sorry? You're sorry though? Good. Done. Let's drop it. Don't do it again."...he is grateful to his brother for helping develop a character that allows for his condition but allows him to have at least a few good relationships.

To provide him with at least some relief, his parents enrolled him into a boxing course at an early age. With a keen mind, and a fire in his soul, he quickly excelled, enjoying as many fights as he could get himself into. The intense nature of the fights combined with the relief experienced through hitting and getting hit is one of his favorite past times, and for a time in his early teens, he would often seek out people to fight on the street just to get through his day. He is no stranger to pain, and loves the idea of exchanging blows with a powerful opponent, savoring a difficult battle to satisfy his hungry soul.

At nights or at times of peace he often squeezes ice cubes. He has a very strong love for them actually. The burning feeling of it in his palm, combined with the trickling of it down his arm, provides a safe and easy way to combat the intense feelings coursing through him.

He aspires to seek out young people who are troubled in order to help them build the character they need to overcome their difficulties. He often becomes frustrated with himself as the "tough love" he dispenses often chases those he wishes to mentor away, and he is constantly searching for a way to reach others in a more successful way.

He isn't very interested in love, but is more concerned with his ambitions and goals. In his mind, it's not much of a reality anyway, so he pays the notion little mind.

So, uh, that's Nick.
